The IT Consulting Services team follows each project from start to completion and beyond to make sure that projects are delivered within the scope, on time and within budget. In order to effectively serve our clients, the team follows a structured Project Management Framework model which consists of five phases:
- Support Services
During the consulting phase, information is gathered to identify the client’s challenge and ultimate goal, review the current environment and determine the best-fit solution. Plan B Technologies, Inc. (PBT) may conduct whiteboard consultations, assessments and/or onsite meetings for accurate information exchange.
During the planning phase, a formal Scope of Work (SOW) and project plan are created. The SOW communicates vision for the project including cost (resources and timeframe) and benefit (goals and deliverables).
An approved SOW and project plan provide the baseline for solution implementation to begin. During the implementation phase, the PBT team completes all solution deliverables as agreed upon. PBT may suggest segmenting this phase into a pilot allowing for final solution enhancements to be made prior to full deployment.
During the stabilizing phase, systematic testing, monitoring and validation activities take center stage to ensure the continuity of daily operations and verify that all solution deliverables have been met. PBT provides knowledge transfer and training as well as transition of technical documentation in this phase. Future support plans are in place, and project turnover is complete.
